You pack a lot into a small space. I feel the narrator's pangs at leaving behind the village, the pastry shop, and moving on to the next dangerous mission.
I wonder if Glenn is a schlub and deserves to be snapped at, or if she is manipulative and demeaning.
You remind me that 5-minute freewriting is a GREAT pastime, brewing up characters and plots as if out of nowhere. Love it. Thank you for freewriting!
