Today I'm not going to demand so much of myself,
I'm just going to breathe,
let the gentle wind
caress me as it passes by.
I'm going to play my music,
the kind that makes the sun dance,
melodies of dreams,
in a warm lullaby of love.
I'll remember that I'm here,
in this real moment,
that every step I've taken
has been an act of radical courage.
Today I will give myself permission
to be just who I am,
without rushing or demanding,
without the fear of ‘I can't today’.
Today I'm not going to demand so much of myself,
I'm just going to be, without hesitation,
a moment of peace in life,
a whisper of the sea.
