Thank you @shainemata for your input. We must look at both the Old Testiment and New Testiment. I don't think it would be ok for someone to let someone else mark the body. As I don't think it is good to let anyone mark your body unless you really want your body marked. Then in the New Testiment are we to permit some to mark our body with the name of the beast or the number of his name? Yet people put images of the devil, even 666, even a dragon on their body. Also the tattooer does not only put that mark on the skin, but deep inside the body, to where the tattooer has to wipe away the blood to see clearly where to keep marking the body. So the marking is not only on the body, but also in the body. It is written, And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: Revelation 13:16. That was the KJV of the mark being in the hand or in their foreheads, but other versions say on the hand or on their foreheads, yet a tattooer put the marks both in the body and on the body. How deep does it go? Deep enough to let the blood out. Again, I thank you for your input.
