Three houses were burnt to the ground in Meunasah Lancok Village, Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province. The accident occurred on Saturday, 05/13/2023, at around 9:20 pm. WIB.
As a result of this disaster, four heads of families consisting of 13 people lost their homes, there were no fatalities in this disaster however, three housing units and their contents were burned down.
The burned house was occupied by Syamsuddin, Amri and Rahmati and their families. The disaster caused four heads of families consisting of thirteen souls to flee temporarily.
The Chief Coordinator of the Bireuen Disaster Preparedness Taruna Zulfikar, GA in the official disaster report stated that three houses were burned to the ground in Meunasah Lancok Village, Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, the disaster occurred on Saturday, 05/13/2023, at around 9:20 pm. WIB.
According to information, the cause of the fire is unknown, it suddenly enlarged and burned one of the houses. The size of the blaze caused the fire to quickly spread to other houses.
Knowing that a fire had occurred, the local community immediately contacted the Bireuen and Pidie Jaya firefighters. Five units of the Bireuen Regency fire fleet and one unit of the Ule Gle, Pidie Jaya fire fleet were deployed to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The accident caused two units of permanent construction to be burnt down, one unit of semi-permanent construction to be partially burnt. The permanent construction house that burned down was occupied by Syamsuddin and Rahmati, the two heads of the family occupying the house with their families.
Moments later, the fire was put out by firefighters. The incident location is a densely populated residential area, conditions are back under control after firefighters were able to put out the blaze.
Meanwhile, the Head of Meunasah Lancok Village, Rahmat, told several local media crews that initially a fire appeared and suddenly grew in Syamsuddin's house. The fire quickly grew and burned the house. The local community immediately helped put out the fire and contacted the Bireuen Mamplam Simpang Post firefighters.
Not long after, a fire fleet from the Bireuen Mamplam Simpang Post arrived at the location to put out the fire. Followed by a fire fleet from Ulee Gle Pidie Jaya, a fire fleet from the Bireuen Post and the Juli Bireuen Post.
However, due to the semi-permanent construction of the house, the fire quickly grew and spread to other adjacent houses. As a result of this disaster, three houses were burnt. Syamsuddin and Rahmati's house was burned down along with its contents, while Amri's house was burnt on the roof of the house.
The cause of this fire is not known yet, there were no casualties in the incident.
