Cordy was apprehensive as she stepped out of her office that evening. She brought out the piece of paper which had the address scrawled across it, to cross check it perhaps for the umpteenth time.
Crunchies & Coffee,

She stepped out of the taxi into the soft cool breeze and ran her hand through her long blonde hair, just to put the straying strands in place.
With a deep breath, she walked into the coffee shop. It was scanty and quiet, and she felt a pang of anxiety in her chest. She had never been good eating outside but she had to do it today. She had scheduled to meet the love of her life.
She rolled her eyes in disbelief, they hadn't even met and she's already referring to him as 'the love of my life'. She smiled at how naive she could sometimes be.
She was completely unaware of her delicious curves hugged by the blue blazers and her thick blonde hair playing around as she moved. She was a very beautiful woman no doubt, and a few stares her way proved that.
Cordy looked around nervously, scanning the sea of faces. She was looking for a man in a blue blazers, the man who had been chatting with her on an online dating app for the last two months. His name was Rooney, and he was from the neighbouring town.
Cordy had never met Rooney in person, but she felt that she knew him so well. They had talked about everything under the sun, from their favourite books to their childhood memories. From their likes to their dislikes, and just about everything under the Sun. They had even discussed what they felt true love meant, and how rare it was to find in today's world. They discovered so many shared interests but the one that hit home the most was the fact that they were both Poets. During most of their conversations, they had perfectly woven candid words to buttress their emotions, their excitement and every other thing in between, it was simply wonderful!
Cordy spotted Rooney at a table in the corner. He was sitting alone, reading a book. Sophie felt a flutter in her heart as she walked towards him. Her wobbly feet almost unable to carry her frame.
"Hi, Rooney," she said, as she put her hand on his shoulder. In one brief second, she observed this extremely good looking man, more handsome than she ever imagined. "He's so hot, wow! She enthused.
Rooney looked up, his face broke into a warm smile as he keenly viewed this rare specimen of a woman before him. He held his breath at her breathtaking beauty and stood up to hug her tightly.
He was one lucky dude, he congratulated himself
"Cordy we finally meet and it feels so nice," he said, as he kissed her cheek.
Cordy felt a jolt of electricity spread through her body, she held tightly to him lest she fall. As she looked up into Rooney's eyes, they were Ocean dark, mesmerizing and drawing her onto him, and in a moment, like the clear sky on a summer day. She had never seen eyes like his before.
She knew that those eyes held promises and mysteries and she was just so eager to unravel them, one after the other.....
