People grow apart naturally but I believe some friends are for life and find a way to make it work regardless of distance and life putting them on different paths. It’s 2022 so there’s a million ways to stay connected. It just takes a mutual agreement to make the effort

Yeah, that's true. So if one friend does not make any effort to connect, then we cannot do anything about it anymore, no matter how much we want them in our lives
Exactly right, we need friends who think we’re worth the effort and worth staying connected to.
