In a world where few children learn cursive anymore, Lia always stood out. You see, she loved the way letters can kiss and loop, joined in a sensuous dance across the page. From the moment she first held a pen it was clear she was destined to be a calligrapher.
She grew up with that dream held tightly in her heart. And she studied and practiced and saved and finally opened a little store on a not-too-busy street that seemed to attract the artsy types. None of that ‘online’ nonsense for her! Then she set about making the most beautiful sign she could. It was absolutely gorgeous with the most stylized lettering she could come up with. It was objectively a very beautiful work of art.
But it was a very bad sign because almost nobody could read it.

Sometimes when you don't feel like writing you should probably just start anyway. Maybe something special will pour out of you. Or maybe you won't write much but you'll have chipped a tiny corner off of your writer's block 😉.
Anyhoo, if you want to write on today's prompt, head over here for all the details. Its almost tomorrow for me though. Maybe tomorrow's prompt... 🤔.
