A carbon-based lifeform is any living organism whose biochemistry relies on carbon atoms as the main building block for complex molecules, like proteins, fats, and sugars, using water as a solvent; all life on Earth, from bacteria to humans, fits this description because carbon's ability to form four stable bonds allows for the vast complexity needed for life. I heard about carbon based Lifeform a long time ago, I can't recollect where. It might even be in a movie. This was why I decided to source for the meaning above to refresh my memory and that of my readers as to what it means.
Sometimes, we might know something but we don't know what it is called. This is the case for carbon based lifeform. The concept cannot exist without humans and other lifeform but we barely take cognizance. Maybe it is a carbon based lifeform or it is not a carbon based lifeform, who knows???
