When a person is under a restraint, the first response of the people around him or even himself is that someone has put him under a restraint. It never occurs to people that they can also put themselves under a restraint.
A self restraint is when a person puts a limitation upon himself, he is therefore bound to that restraint. Most of the time, these restraint are done unknowingly because only few folks will want to place themselves under restraint. Some folks are self disciplined and it comes with a price of being in a restraint about many things.
We all need to watch what we do, and how we put ourselves in situations. Being under a restraint can be a good thing and as well a bad thing, depending on the context. Self constraints can leave room for improvement, which is the best way to get out from self restraint.
