RE: A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words FORESTS AND JUNGLES NATURAL INDUSTRIES AT THE SERVICE OF THE EARTH / BOSQUES Y SELVAS INDUSTRIAS NATURALES AL SERVICIO DE LA TIERRA

The entire world should not focus on the rainforest only. I agree it should not be used for excessive farming of .. soya but those living there have a right to be a farmer as well.
I noticed wherever I travel forests, old trees are cut down to be replaced by solar cells, wind turbines, data centres and more and more houses (there are many empty buildings already).
Let everyone with a garden, or balcony do his share, let trees grow and where are all those roofgardens governments talked about over 25 years ago?

You gave us good for thought. I liked the part about the symbioses between trees/plants and fungi.

I wish you all good health.

It is very good that they should be farmers but in BRAZIL, giving the landless areas of the Amazon rainforest to cultivate has resulted in the desertification of that land so those people who wanted to, with their ignorance and trusting in the government, cultivate there In the end, after 5 or less years, they are left poorer, even with a desert land that cannot be put to any other use.

That is to say, these lands provide a better use by leaving them intact and those people who live there must look for new ways to live without damaging the land.

The increase in logging in this type of land is alarming and must be protected for the good of all the lands that remain not only in the Amazon rainforest but also in natural environments in general, many of them are protection of water sources. that you and I consume, that is, if you continue like this without thinking, you cut down forests and jungles, there will be no tributaries of drinking water left to consume and the use for crop land destroys those tributaries.

There is already a crisis of water availability in many parts of the world due to excessive use in human processes that have led many populations in the world to suffer from a clean source of water and there are very few intact tributaries left.

That is why the right of these people to be able to cultivate there harms the right to have clean sources of water for other cultivation areas and for human consumption, so therefore it is time to stop the cutting down of jungles and forests to take care of the few. intact tributaries remaining before it is too late.

Thank you for explaining. So trees are needed to clean the water (and air).
I hope worldwide the forests will be protected but I have strong doubts this will be the case.
