You wrote a good story.. it feels like life itself. We will always meet ice mountains on our path, unexpected and yes we will be alone. How to deal with it? Giving in, go with the flow can be a good solution. If you are prepared for the worst it can only get better.
P.s. no need to write "the End" is spoils your great story.
