"You're useless, you'll fail forever, circus freak, three more hours of rehearsal, do you even understand what I'm telling you, idiot?"
These were the words that clouded my thoughts the most. For every minute that passed, in fact, it seemed that the storm was getting worse. The one inside, and also the one outside.
Since I couldn't fall asleep, I just thought about taking my saxophone. It was dark, but I could see it due to its golden skin. I rushed towards it, but as soon as I picked it up, I felt a heavy hand on my shoulder.
"We're going out earlier today, shower yourself now, silly girl", I heard from an arrogant voice.
It was my mom, accompanied by the boarding school caretakers.
I was furious. I couldn't take it anymore. I let out the hidden side in me, and as I used to do on the sly, I used my saxophone to lull living beings. They were all snoring and drooling.
Me? Free forever.
I was a freak after all. One who played somniferous notes.
