I agree with everything said about using templates. Even here on hive, templates are important for curators that publish curation reports every now and then. I can only imagine how handy they will come for corporate organizations. However, I think it is good to try and improve templates with time. Tweak something to make templates better, even if it is just for aesthetics.

Yes, templates cannot remain stagnant or they become a liability. They must be flexible and must be improved just like the processes they support with continual service improvement.
