On the right, cassava stalks grow neatly in rows, forming a natural fence separating this small path from the adjacent fields.
The ground is still damp, the traces of yesterday's afternoon rain not yet fully dried. The scent of wet soil blends with the fragrance of banana leaves and trees freshly bathed in morning dew. Each step feels light, as if the earth itself is welcoming us with gentleness. The distant sounds of insects and birds add to the lively atmosphere simple yet meaningful.
At the end of the path, the faint green expanse of rice fields looms, a sign that life in this village continues to pulsate in harmony with nature. There's no sound of vehicles, no hustle and bustle of the city only nature speaks its quiet language.
I love moments like these. A moment when time seems to slow down, when burdened thoughts slowly melt away with the wind that rustles the leaves. This path may seem ordinary to some, but for anyone with a sense of purpose, it holds profound meaning. It's a reminder that true beauty often lies hidden in simplicity in the small paths rarely traveled, among the trees that grow selflessly, and in the air that carries a natural, unadulterated coolness.
Every time I walk this path, I feel a strange longing, as if it's calling me back.
