Ella entra a la cocina y un olor a gas doméstico la recibe.
-¡No puede ser! Olvidé apagar la hornilla, -se lamentó mientras abría las ventanas.
En ese momento, su gato entra maullando con desesperación.
-Perdón amiguito, en un momento te doy de comer.
Ella busca en la alacena y encuentra un paquete de tortillas de arroz. "
-Perfecto, te prepararé unas ricas migas.
Rompe las tortillas en trozos y las calienta en un sartén con un chorrito de aceite.
El gato se frota contra sus piernas, es un gato hambriento rogando por su festín.
Ella sirve las migas en su platito y el felino se abalanza sobre ellas, devorándolas con avidez. "
-¡Despacio glotón! Que no se te vayan a atorar, -lo regaña entre risas.
El gato levantó la cabeza, con las bigotes cubiertos de migajas y los ojos brillantes de felicidad.
Ella le acaricia su lomo ronroneante.
-Contigo aquí, hasta las sobras saben a manjar.

The cat raised his head, his whiskers covered with crumbs and his eyes shining with happiness.
She strokes his purring back.
