Hunched over with the weight of years,
he walks at a slow pace, fatigued.
Carrying on his back the damage
of a life in sin.
His tired eyes search for the light,
yearning to find redemption.
Repenting under the cross,
He begged for forgiveness.
With a naked soul and a contrite heart, he knelt before the Lord,
He kneels before the Lord.
Confessing every accursed act,
pleading for his love.
And in an act of infinite grace
Divine mercy descends.
Cleansing his conscience, now blessed,
the old man, redeemed is left.
