After Tania left, the sky of the village seemed to have changed. Rahat's days are now silent, colorless, and desolate. Every morning, he goes to the riverbank, where the two of them once sat side by side. Now there is only the sound of waves, and the echoes of the past float in the air.
Even when his friends call, he can't smile like before. Behind the smile lies a deep emptiness. When he opens a book, the letters blur, because the ink mixes with tears again and again.
One day, even when he goes to school, his mind cannot rest. He stares at Tania's empty bench for hours. He remembers that one day, she said there, "I feel bad when you are silent." Now that place is silent, but her words ring in his ears constantly.
Rahat opened his diary after returning home. He filled page after page with one name, Tania then wrote, "You are gone, but I feel you every day. Even if you are not here, I live in your shadow." Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Rima entered, carrying an envelope. Dada, a call has come in your name. Rahat opened the envelope in surprise. The letter had beautiful handwriting, Tania.
His heart rate increased. The letter read
Rahat, everything is new after coming to the city, but I miss you more than before. There are many people here, but no one knows how to take care of you silently like you. Every day I stand at the window and look for the sky in the village. If you can, never forget our story.
A small line at the bottom of the letter, if you really love me, then wait… I will return.
Rahat's eyes got wet. A new light shone deep in his heart. He looked at the sky and said, You will return, I know… because this story is not over yet.
At night, Rahat closed his diary and said in a soft voice, This love is not an imagination, it is that true feeling, which is born once in a lifetime, only for you. Moonlight enters the room through the gap in the window, and Tania's smile sparkles in Rahat's eyes.
