Novel: Just for You

Par – 7

From that day on, a silent understanding developed between Rahat and Tania. Even though they did not meet every morning, they felt each other every moment. When Rahat was sitting in class, it suddenly felt like a gust of wind, Tania might be sitting by the window now. And when Tania opened the book, Rahat's eyes seemed to float on the first page.

One afternoon, Tania was returning from school. The road was empty, only the chirping of birds and the sound of footsteps. Suddenly, Rahat's voice came from behind, "Wait a minute." Tania stopped, looked back. Rahat ran over and said, "I brought something for you." Tanya was surprised and said, "For me?" She took out a small blue envelope from her pocket. Tanya opened it with trembling hands and saw—there was a dried flower inside, and the flower's scent written below was still there, just like you.

Tanya didn't say anything, just looked at him silently. Rahat said, "Don't be angry, I just… wanted to give you something to remember." Tanya smiled, "Why should I be angry? Your flower may wither one day, but the words will remain."

The evening light slowly descended. The shadows of the two of them stretched long on the ground, as if those shadows were also walking side by side. Tanya said, "Rahat, sometimes I get scared. Scared? Of what? What if everything is lost one day, what if we get lost in a misunderstanding?"

Rahat sighed. There may be fear in love, but I promise I will be by your side as long as this world lasts.

Tanya silently looked into his eyes. There was truth in those eyes, there was trust. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew her hair and it fell on Rahat's face. It started. He raised his hand and said, this hair is also stubborn like you. Tanya smiled, you don't understand me at all. Rahat said, then I will learn, if you teach me.

In the middle of their words, the sky started to darken. Clouds were roaring in the distance, a storm was coming. Tanya said, come on, let's go home. Rahat said, okay, but on one condition, you will meet tomorrow. Tanya smiled a little and said, maybe... if it doesn't rain.

But fate plays a cruel game. The next day, suddenly, news came that Tanya was leaving for the city, due to her father's transfer.

Rahat felt like someone was taking all the light from his chest. Now only one sound was playing in the air, even if everything was lost, I will still be there... just for you.
