5 Minute Freewrite Prompt | A frozen pond

Winter is coming !!

I'm sure many would remember this phrase from the famous tv series Games of Thrones. For some reason, this was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the prompt of the day Frozen Pond. Recalling the scenes from the tv series - the undead tearing down The Wall with one of Daenerys Targaryen's dragon. Believe it or not, I watched all 7 seasons at one go. It must've taken me about a week to complete it. My husband thought I was going mad with the entire Game of Throne's marathon run 😆

However, by the time the 8th season came out, I had lost my interest and didn't bother to watch it until much later. I didn't event watched every episode from the 8th season; skip a few here and there. I found the last episode pretty anti-climaxed; I meant I had hoped for a happy ending for Daenerys Targaryen & Jon Snow. I guess the directors can't be seen as supporting Avunculate Marriage and since time was running out, they had to cut off so many scenes and trim down the story lines.

So much for WINTER and the Undead walking on the frozen ponds to the South.
