Sanity
Like when we’re with someone we’re fond of,
Or when we’re having an argument,
And we just stay calm and quiet,
In rotund silence.
Nonetheless, on the inside, we’re screaming,
We’re shouting so loud our bodies shake.
Burning up like a meteor that’s falling from the
space.
And somehow, we keep it locked.
Our lips sealed with the strongest glue,
Because that way, we keep our sanity together.
And we wait and wait,
Until we consider it is worthy to share it,
Until we become loud.
