Hace un tiempo coincidí con un amigo que iba a comprarse un auto y este me comentaba que si podría ayudarle a revisarlo, pues él dice que no estaba tan seguro de que otro amigo del que es mecánico pudiera ir, pero que como él sabía que yo conocía del tema, podría ayudarle al menos de cierta manera si este otro amigo no pudiera ir para darle el visto bueno.
Cabe destacar que en esto de los carros de segunda mano y más cuando provienen de “manos ajenas” o de personas a las que no conozcamos, es importante ser meticuloso con la inspección, pues de cierta manera, no sabemos si esta persona ha cuidado bien el auto, si le ha hecho ciertos mantenimientos, la calidad de los repuestos, como es su estilo de conducción y muchas otras cosas más que pueden ser determinantes para ver el estado del auto en sí.
Ya que de cierta manera, no es lo mismo que lo maneje una persona mayor (por así decirlo), en la que sabemos que no va a andar estresando el vehículo al andar a velocidades peligrosas, o que fuerce al mismo a pasar por cierto tipo de lugares o cosas por el estilo, a un joven que por ejemplo tenga un auto con “porte” deportivo y que por todos lados pinta a que tiene más apariencia de correr y maltratar el auto..
Por lo que uno siempre debe ser cuidadoso en esto, mi amigo le pregunto al dueño del auto y este le comentó que este carro nunca había tenido algún percance, pues estaba “original”, ya que su hermana era quien lo habría manejado hasta que se fue del país y que tenía un tiempo parado porque no se usaba.
Al revisar un poco nos dimos cuenta de que este carro estaba repintado, pues se veían algunas “sombras” de cuando se le aplica el spray y ensucia partes de otros colores, en este caso el negro sobre la pintura “original”, y cuando vamos a lo que vendría siendo la parte de abajo, me di cuenta de algo y es que este carro tenía algunos faltantes, como pudieran ser por ejemplo algunos cobertores, o plásticos, se le veían piezas que estaban sujetadas de otras maneras que no eran “originales”.
Por lo que al examinar un poco más las cosas, empezamos a notar como algunas piezas que tenían años de fabricación de un lado del mismo tenían el año que coincidía con el auto y otros tenían una fecha menor, por lo que habían sido sustituidas, por lo que yo al comentarle esto al amigo, se voltea al dueño y le dice “miénteme con cualquier otra cosa, pero no con daños que pueda tener el carro” por lo que al final, este decidió no concretar nada al no “encajar” ciertas cosas que se vieron con lo comentado, puesto que el vendedor no rebajaba nada más del precio y que hay que ser sinceros con lo que se vende para evitar hacerle perder el tiempo a los demás.

Since in a certain way, it is not the same if it is driven by an older person (so to speak), in which we know that he will not be stressing the vehicle by driving at dangerous speeds, or forcing it to go through certain types of places or things like that, than a young person who for example has a car with a sporty "look" and that looks like he has more appearance of running and mistreating the car.
So one should always be careful in this, my friend asked the owner of the car and he told him that this car had never had any mishap, because it was "original", since his sister was the one who would have driven it until she left the country and that it had been stopped for some time because it was not used.
When we checked a little we realized that this car was repainted, as we could see some "shadows" when the spray is applied and soiled parts of other colors, in this case the black on the "original" paint, and when we go to what would be the bottom, I realized something and is that this car had some missing parts, such as some covers, or plastics, we could see parts that were attached in other ways that were not "original".
So when we examined things a little more, we began to notice how some parts that had years of manufacture on one side of it had the year that matched the car and others had a lower date, so they had been replaced, so I told this to the friend, he turned to the owner and said "lie to me with anything else, but not with damages that may have the car" so that in the end, he decided not to do anything because he did not "fit" certain things that were seen with what was commented, since the seller did not reduce anything more of the price and that you have to be honest with what is sold to avoid wasting the time of others.

Deceit is becoming rampant amongst sellers these days and it's advisable for anyone who wants to get something as valuable as a car to check out the product(especially a second hand) before paying for it. I'm glad you guys didn't buy blindly, would have been devastating for your friend.
