A quien no le pasó el típico de que siendo niños íbamos por la calle con nuestros padres y cuando pasábamos por algún lugar de comida rápida o simplemente cuando queríamos o veíamos algún tipo de comida rápida, y decíamos “podemos ir por tal comida” y la respuesta automática era “vamos a casa que allá hay algo igual de rico” (y terminaba siendo sopas o cremas de vegetales, agrego esto porque no me gusta mucho la sopa).

Recuerdo esto como si hubiera sido ayer, pues de cierta manera, siempre escuché lo segundo, ya que sobre todo mi madre es una persona a la cual no le gusta que uno este comiendo “comida chatarra”, pues como digo, no es todo el tiempo ni todos los días esto, pues una vez a la cuaresma no es malo..

Pero como siempre la respuesta era “no, y vamos a casa” pues no había manera de hacerla caer en esta petición, pero si recuerdo que me gustaba sobre todo viajar con mi abuela, o quedarme con ella, ya que ella si era mas accesible a estas peticiones y que siempre nos consintió con todo tipo de cosas, pues cuando ella por ejemplo decía que no era porque en casa iba a preparar algo mil veces mejor o muy similar al estilo de aquella petición.

Y sé que a mas de uno le pasó algo similar, pues es común ese “meme”, y que dicen por ahí que los padres son rudos con los hijos, pero no con los que le siguen, pues de cierta manera estos bajan su guardia, y es algo con lo que de cierta manera no comparto del todo, porque no hay nada mejor que poder llevarse bien con aquellos seres queridos mas directos como pueden ser los padres, pues se debe tratar con respeto y entenderse de la mejor manera, puesto que al final son los compañeros que vamos a tener por gran parte de nuestras vidas generalmente.

Who didn't experience the typical situation when we were kids walking down the street with our parents and when we passed by a fast food place or simply when we wanted or saw some kind of fast food, we would say "we can go for such and such food" and the automatic answer was "let's go home, there is something just as good there" (and it ended up being soups or vegetable creams, I add this because I don't like soup very much).

I remember this as if it was yesterday, because in a certain way, I always heard the latter, since especially my mother is a person who does not like that one is eating "junk food", because as I say, it is not all the time or every day this, because once a Lent is not bad....

But as always the answer was "no, and let's go home" because there was no way to make her fall into this request, but I remember that I liked to travel with my grandmother, or stay with her, because she was more accessible to these requests and she always spoiled us with all kinds of things, because when she for example said no it was because at home she was going to prepare something a thousand times better or very similar to the style of that request.

And I know that something similar happened to more than one, because it is common that "meme", and they say that parents are rude with their children, but not with those who follow them, because in a certain way they let their guard down, and it is something that in a way I do not share at all, because there is nothing better than to get along with those loved ones more direct as parents can be, because they should be treated with respect and understood in the best way, since in the end they are the companions that we will have for much of our lives generally.
