Things I'd do differently series (day 2)

‎When others are choosing to be smokers, this is what I'd do differently.

‎There's a high chance of a person developing lung damages and failures when one smokes a cigarette at least daily for 90 days.
‎The most common effect is the person getting addicted.
‎90 days is enough for you to get really addicted to something, I hope you know that, and here we're talking about a habit that involves the intake of a dangerous substance into one's system which in turn makes them feel high and "relaxed".

‎In 90 days, one can be prone to various types of respiratory infections.
‎Now this is one of the effects not to talk of the physical or skin changes, damages and so on.

‎What am I driving at?
‎These things allegedly give you relief for just a short period of time. Prolly an hour or two daily and after that, it fades.

‎So, how is it that a person is able to convince himself that 2 hours of relief from a single cigarette can be compared to a fresh 90 days of I'll health, physical changes and skin reactions, addiction that robs you off of your recourses and so on?

‎I mean, doesn't makes sense to me.
‎But then, I so much love myself so, yea I'mma do things differently and not subject myself to those discomfort that come as an aftermath.
