Drabble: A 100 word story written using the word prompt "no feeling".

...An historic day for the Freewrite Community. 2,000 days of consecutive freewrite prompts for community members to apply their writing skills. Congratulations @mariannewest and thanks for your dedication to writers on Hive. I know that I appreciate all that you do. For today's writing prompt, "no feeling" is a chance to explore a variety of scenarios that deal with self improvement. I'm tailoring the prompt to the new micro-fiction format created by @felt.buzz. This format assists in my efforts at preciseness in my stories.

For my theme, I was inspired by and utilized @mariannewest's Freewrite prompt: Day 2000: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday - Prompt: no feeling.

Below is my story:

"You're kicking the can down the road. Please talk to professionals." Melba waited. She studied her brother-in-law's face.

"What's the point? The unsolved death is officially a "cold case."

She could feel and see Julian's hurt. His wife and daughter left to die after the accident. She knew he would never admit it, declaring repeated he had no feeling about the perpetrators.

"Drinking and drugs were never your life choice. Pouring over hundreds of tips from thrill seekers isn't the answer."

"Someone knows." Julian pointed toward piles of notes.

Melba sighed heavily, then hugged him. "Bring me up to speed."

Un día histórico para la Comunidad Freewrite. 2.000 días consecutivos de mensajes de escritura libre para que los miembros de la comunidad apliquen sus habilidades de escritura. Reacción retardada

"Estás dando patadas a la lata. Por favor, habla con profesionales". Melba esperó. Estudió la cara de su cuñado.

"¿Qué sentido tiene? La muerte sin resolver es oficialmente un "caso sin resolver".

Podía sentir y ver el dolor de Julian. Su mujer y su hija abandonadas a su suerte tras el accidente. Ella sabía que él nunca lo admitiría, declarando repetidamente que no tenía ningún presentimiento sobre los autores.

"La bebida y las drogas nunca fueron su elección de vida. Revisar cientos de consejos de buscadores de emociones no es la respuesta".

"Alguien lo sabe". Julian señaló hacia montones de notas.

Melba suspiró pesadamente, luego lo abrazó. "Ponme al día".
