In the matrix

Lines of code swirled before my eyes in a dizzying whirlwind of numbers and letters. The physical world blurred, merging with virtual reality in a mind-bending spiral of impossible colours and shapes.

I lost all anchorage to reality when a massive glitch shook the foundations of the system. Suddenly, the buildings fragmented into thousands of cubes that hovered in the air, defying the laws of gravity.

I broke through one of the digitised walls and plunged into an ocean of data where the fish were bytes swimming around me. I tried to swim to the surface, but each stroke plunged me deeper into the cybernetic madness.

Just when I thought I would drown in the matrix, an ethereal voice echoed in my mind: ‘It's all code. Reality is an illusion designed to hold us captive’.

I opened my eyes and found myself back in my cabin, drenched in a cold sweat. Was it just a drug-induced hallucination or a glimpse of the truth beneath the simulation? Nothing made sense anymore.
