I am an English teacher and one of the topics that we debated in the classroom today was the fact that humans should not use animal skin in products like bags and furniture. One thing that comes to my mind is that how would a human feel if their skin is used for making a bag. These bags made for example from snake skin are very expensive. Wealthy people like these expensive things and that is why the hunt for skin animal has not stopped. So many environmentalist have talked about the inhumanity of this act. Many animals suffer and die to make leather, wool and clothing from their skin each year. This exploitation of animals is simply not acceptable in the eyes of animal right activists. We discussed in the classroom that we need more activists in this area to prevent this inhuman act to go on much longer.

Sort:

It is a good proposal that you make when you talk about the fur of these animals, although there are laws that protect them, the slaughter of these animals to make bags of great economic value continues.

it is not just the fur, they make all kinds of stuff with their skin, laws partially protect them, there are people who abuse these laws.
