Throughout his life Ethan expressed curiosity about the deserted building which stood near the town limits. Local communities had a hushed reputation for it which they named "the mysterious clinic". The night arrived when he could no longer control his curiosity so he decided to enter the building.
Vanished dust particles covered every floor surface and various pieces of outdated medical instruments rested on the ground. New footprints in the distance caught his attention when he continued walking into the depths of the building before reaching the locked door. His heart pounded. His ears heard a weak voice repeating his name.
When he opened the door he gave a sudden surprised breath. A single dimly lit room displayed medical files from patients among which was his name dated ten years before his birth.
Frightened by what he saw he rushed beyond the clinic doors where he promised himself he would not come back again. The medical facility disappeared completely the day after appearing since it had never existed.
