Temprano esa mañana doña Catalina escogió los ingredientes para hacer su pizca andina:
• cebollas
• cilantro
• huevos
• leche
• queso
Se dispuso a montar dos litros de agua. Mientras eso hervía, cortó las cebollas en cuadritos pequeños, corto el cilantro. Aparte, batió la leche junto a los huevos. Esperó que hirviera el agua, agrego la cebolla y el cilantro, esperó que el agua se tornara verde, luego agregó la leche con los huevos. Al romper el hervor, bajó la sopita.
Se sirvió en su recipiente de arcilla que le regaló su hijo. Cortó el queso en cuadrito se sirvió y con una arepa de harina disfrutó lo que ella sin saberlo sería su última comida.
Al preparar la receta, su hija, recuerda esos momentos que su madre, doña Catalina se esmeraba por cocinar y hacer siempre de las comidas el mejor momento del día en familia
