When I spoke about nuts, in the beginning, the topic was quite blurry. That is, the translation of the word nut. I have always believed that it was like walnut.
And of course, English is a very rich language. Well, I understand that nut means nut. So I make this little review as something curious.
In the beginning I was going to talk about nuts and not about nuts. But now, after clarifying this little curiosity, talking about nuts reminds me of many years ago when the washing machine was damaged for the first time. And it was damaged, I'm going to tell you how.
Because after washing some pants and a number of shirts I had, the washing machine does a centrifugal cycle of draining. And it stayed doing its cycle. And since the load of wet clothes was so heavy, the centrifugal weight of all this caused the washing machine to start moving and the drum would come out of its shaft, moving from one side to the other very strongly.
In fact, the washing machine itself began to roll. And I heard the noise because I was in my room working on the computer. I heard the noise, I got closer to see.
And when I went to turn it off, the damage had already occurred. What happened was that the hose through which the drain of the washing machine goes, not the hose that connects directly from the tap to the washing machine, but another internal hose that has the washing machine at the bottom hidden, which is a hose through which the centrifugal drain goes. All the water that is centrifuged goes out there and returns again to the part where the water is drained.
And it turns out that that tube broke and I had to repair it. So, since I don't know about washing machines or anything like that, it was up to me to design a way for the drum to stay fixed and that when closing the lid of the washing machine, the washing machine could start the cycle. Because with the abrupt movement of the centrifuge, a switch broke, which is a pin that when closing the lid indicates to the washing machine that it can start working.
And then I had to design it in a way, placing it, I remember that I took photos and published them on the blockchain too, placing a kind of device that I made with a nut. I took a nut and tied it to the device so that when closing the lid of the washing machine, this would make contact and not move because it was broken, and then the washing machine could start its normal cycle. This was a little trick, a little hack that occurred to me.
I didn't look on the internet or in any magazine or ask anyone, but I just started to think about how I could solve that little problem and the nut came to my mind. This is a sample of how many times those little things, like the nut, the screws and other accessories that we have within our reach, if we don't engineer them, we can use them to solve small home problems, small things and details in the house that otherwise we would have to pay a technician to repair. And well, this is the little anecdote episode that I wanted to tell you about today's topic, which is the nut.

Cuando hablé sobre tuercas, en un principio, el tema estaba bastante borroso. Es decir, la traducción de la palabra nut. Yo siempre he creído que era como nuez.
Y por supuesto, el inglés es un idioma muy rico. Bueno, entiendo que nut significa nuez. Así que hago esta pequeña reseña como algo curioso.
Al principio iba a hablar de tuercas y no de nueces. Pero ahora, después de aclarar esta pequeña curiosidad, hablar de tuercas me recuerda a hace muchos años, cuando la lavadora se dañó por primera vez. Y se dañó, les voy a contar cómo.
Porque después de lavar unos pantalones y un número de camisas que tenía, la lavadora hace un ciclo centrífugo de drenado. Y se quedó haciendo su ciclo. Y como la carga de ropa mojada era tan pesada, el peso centrífugo de todo esto hizo que la lavadora empezara a moverse y el tambor saliera de su eje, moviéndose de un lado a otro muy fuerte.
De hecho, la propia lavadora empezó a rodar. Y yo escuché el ruido porque estaba en mi habitación trabajando en la computadora. Escuché el ruido, me acerqué a ver.
Y cuando fui a apagarla, el daño ya se había producido. Lo que pasó fue que se rompió la manguera por donde va el drenaje de la lavadora, no la manguera que se conecta directamente del grifo a la lavadora, sino otra manguera interna que tiene la lavadora en la parte inferior escondida, que es una manguera por donde va el drenaje centrífugo. Toda el agua que se centrifuga sale por allí y vuelve otra vez a la parte donde se drena el agua.
Y resulta que ese tubo se rompió y tuve que repararlo. Entonces, como yo no sé de lavadoras ni nada de eso, me correspondió a mí diseñar una forma para que el tambor se quedara fijo y que al cerrar la tapa de la lavadora, la lavadora pudiera iniciar el ciclo. Porque con el movimiento abrupto de la centrífuga, se rompió un interruptor, que es una clavija que al cerrar la tapa le indica a la lavadora que puede empezar a trabajar.
Y entonces tuve que diseñarlo de una manera, colocándolo, recuerdo que tomé fotos y las publiqué en la blockchain también, colocando una especie de dispositivo que hice con una tuerca. Tomé una tuerca y la até al dispositivo para que al cerrar la tapa de la lavadora, esta hiciera contacto y no se moviera porque estaba roto, y entonces la lavadora pudiera comenzar su ciclo normal. Esto fue un pequeño truco, un pequeño hack que se me ocurrió.
No busqué en internet ni en ninguna revista ni le pregunté a nadie, sino que simplemente me puse a pensar en cómo podría resolver ese pequeño problema y la tuerca vino a mi mente. Esta es una muestra de cómo muchas veces esas pequeñas cosas, como la tuerca, los tornillos y otros accesorios que tenemos a nuestro alcance, si no los ingeniamos, podemos usarlos para resolver pequeños problemas hogareños, pequeñas cosas y detalles en la casa que de otra manera tendríamos que pagar a un técnico para reparar. Y bueno, este es el pequeño episodio anecdótico que quería contarles sobre el tema de hoy, que es la tuerca.

El detenerse a observar el problema y tratar de idear cómo resolverlo con lo que tenía a mano - la tuerca - fue positivo ya que no solo reparó usted mismo la lavadora sino que se ahorró el pago al técnico más el gasto del repuesto que seguramente él le hubiera pedido que comprara. Creo que eso nos dice que muchas respuestas están en nuestro interior, pero debemos dedicar un tiempo para detenernos, analizar y si buscamos, las vamos a encontrar.
