He stood up hurriedly and ran to his grandma's room. There was a hip of old iron boxes that were no longer in use.
Emeka had just heard from the 8 o'clock news that a gold company was collecting a particular coin that was in use in the year 1942 in exchange for three (3) million naira.
He stood there looking at the hip of boxes wondering the particular box he had come across that coin in it. He was sweating profusely, but was so focused on searching for it that night.
He opened each of those boxes, and dragging out the old clothes and papers in those boxes, he was about to give up when two coins fell out from an old newspaper. He collapsed on the bed with a sigh of relief.
