He said he wasn't going to the party, he didn't have time. When he got home he had everything ready to get dressed, included the tie; he just had to shower and get ready. He resigned himself and accompanied his wife.

Dijo que no iba a la fiesta, que no tenía tiempo. Cuando llegó a casa tenía todo listo para vestirse, incluida la corbata; solo debía ducharse y arreglarse. Se resignó y acompañó a su esposa.
