6 Million Forms Of Communication

in Freewriters6 years ago

"There's no story here," said Robot 1. "It's already finished."

"That's a shame," said Robot 2. "This story is about a translator. That would be perfect for us."

"How many forms of communication are you fluent in?"

Before I go any further, Robot 1 and Robot 2 were two characters that I created. Their story was told over 5 parts. But it came to a natural conclusion. No need for any more.

"I am fluent in over 6 million forms of communication," said Robot 2.

If you read my original 5 part story, you would know that these robots do have proper names. However, getting sued is a messy business.

"I know 7 million," said Robot 1.

"Wow," said Robot 2. "More than me."

"You can speak 7 million too."

"6 million," stated Robot 2.

"We need to make it 7 million," said Robot 1.

"Why?"

*Because there's another famous robot who is well versed in over 6 million forms of communication. People might think that our characters are a rip off of him."

"Bollocks," said Robot 2.

"It's not bollocks," replied Robot 1.

"What I meant was this," continued Robot 2. "Did this robot have bollocks?"

"I believe not," replied Robot 1.

"In that case, nobody is going to sue us."
