Hello Hivians,

Four days ago, my friend Oyinlola Oladokun pointed out something interesting from the book of Exodus 15:23;

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[23] And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

This is a popular scene in the journey of the Israelites through the wilderness. They became so thirsty and needed water and boom they bumped into one only to realise the water was bitter, the soo thirsty Israelites rejected that water. I could only imagine how bitter the water was that in their heavy thirst they rejected the water.

But let's look at verse 25a;

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:25‬ ‭KJV‬‬
[25] And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet:

They were only able to drink the water after it was made sweet.

This story says a lot, however, remember this:

No matter how in need people are for what you have, if you don't do it well, they will always look out for something better.

No matter how much needed what you carry/ have is, if you don't look out for ways to be better, others who work your weakness into their strength will take your customers.

This here can be applied in any sphere of life, business, skill, career, ministry, education, relationship etc. find how it ministers to your situation and run with it.

Thanks for reading😌

The last thing I didn't point out there but should be there is the very fact that Moses actually cried out to God for direction and He got it!

In your bid to up your game, remember to consult God for direction. This is not a cliche, it is basically what I live for.

Happy Friday
