We used to be careful not to frighten our children. We thought that if they thought they were safe, they would grow up to be happier and more productive.
Of late, we have been scaring the crap out of our children. The last three years, we have made them afraid of their own damn breath, and the breaths of others. We taught them to never share their crayons or toys. We taught them that climbing into their Granny's laps could very well kill their Granny. We have made them feel they are poisonous, that their friends are poisonous, that not being able to breathe is a good thing.
Our children already suffered from a long list of things that might be wrong with them, such as a slew of mental illnesses or learning disabilities that supposedly sets them apart and below all those other children who do not chafe under the extreme duress of public schooling, where they are constantly compared to others via grading. A great many of them are found to be lacking and very few excel.
Where they once felt they were merely lacking, they now downright fear, and possibly hate, themselves. Is there any wonder that many more of our children are suffering from depression and anxiety than they did a few years ago?
But the question I really want to ask is
Are we going to do this to our children again, the next time our sorry ass governments, or unelected and mostly self-appointed lords of the universe (WHO, WEF, DAVOS, CDC etc) tell us to?

I really don't know if people can be fooled again, but I suspect so. During the covid nonsense, we all thought that when they came to inject the kids the gig would be up. But no. What does it take to get people to stand up?
I'm the only one in my family of origin and their spouses, totalling 9 adults (idk where their adult children stand) who does not believe the covid measures were necessary. I'm also the only one who didn't vote for the cyborg in the white house. It's the Democrats in the US. They have been very well brainwashed to believe anything their party tells them to believe, no matter how absurd, and no matter how badly it harms their children. It's a massive cult.

All the big Pharma using brown-skinned people as guinea pigs and tax dollars to buy the vaccines that injure and kill them. And even when a Kennedy speaks up, he gets the smear campaign. Not a response to all the obvious cases of medical overreach and intervention in the lives of others.

I was never able to internalize it. Had I come to "KNOW" that Jesus lives in me and moves in me and keeps me going through times of trouble, I might slam the door on all talk of Jesus being manufactured .... the millions of stories and churches, the monasteries, the martyrs....

I remember this. So absurd. I don't know why the music community, especially, put up with being ROBBED OF THEIR PASSIONS AND LIVELIHOODS, but most of them did. My ex-chorus rehearsed socially distanced and outside, still wearing masks!! Who can sing in a mask? You have to be able to breathe! I was so fortunate that Maureen's did not, and boy did I drop a lot of money there during our confinement. They followed all the protocols (masks if you were out of your seat, 6 feet between tables, 12 feet from performers), yet STILL idiots reported them.
Will people do this again? Democrats most certainly will. Just look at who they support as their leaders! Fetterman, Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein, Harris - every single one of these, and more, are brain dead.
