These freewrites seem like something I should begin doing, let me see...
Oh yes! It's really fun. I start with no idea of what is going to come out, none. I set a timer for four and a half minutes, write whatever comes to mind, and clean it up after the timer goes off. That method works well for me, so that actual stories weave themselves, and often wrap themselves up nicely, like this one did.
I'd love to read your freewrites, and I really hope you do it!
