I do know a thing or two about restlessness and thinking about my future.
Two practical things helped me. One is journaling. Just start writing your thoughts and have a sort conversation with yourself. Might sound silly, but often I do know why I’m restless and more important, I know what to do about it. I just need to get a dialogue going.
Secondly is working out. And I mean really working out. Preferably a guided workout. Because if you’re not really motivated, going to the gym yourself will be difficult. I usually look up some kind of hit workout on YouTube. Its usually 10-20 minutes. When I complete such a short but grueling workout I end up exhausted. Being exhausted but also proud of yourself of going through a physical hardship always gives me the opportunity to put things in perspective. My restlessness and anxiety goes down because my mind is more clear.
Real problems still require real solutions, but these two things did help me get more of a grip on myself in finding those solutions.
