Question No. 1:

Question No. 1 is indeed easy to answer because all you have to do is to analyze the questions and give some relevant answer. For me, I found out Hive through a Facebook friend who was once one of the most prominent member in the Steemit community in the Philippines.

The person who introduced me to Hive is no other than Chris Rice (@chrisrice), the co-founder of D.Buzz, a micro-blogging platform similar to Twitter but built on top of the Hive blockchain.

My sign-up story on Hive was somewhat surprising because I didn't expect that somebody from Davao City will share me their journey of building a community which is the Hive community. Chris Rice convinced me to write from Steemit, it was before the brutal takeover made by Justin Sun.

I have been blogging since the year 2010, it was a self-hosted blogs built with Wordpress.org Content Management System. Our blog was so successful here in the Philippines and at one time it became one of the Top 100 websites in the Philippines.

Chris Rice convinced me to write for Hive during the days of Steemit because I told him about my story regarding the proliferation of fake news and the constant monitoring of the big tech in the industry. After separating from my previous website, I created a back-up site called https://philnews.xyz, it was intended to fight the biased reporting of the mainstream media.

During the 2016 national elections in the Philippines my site gained momentum and earned a decent income despite the fact that it was not self-hosted because it was hosted by Google servers through Blogspot.com.

I was convinced to joined the revolutions initiated by Hive which is freedom of expression, free speech and decentralization. Because of my experience with Facebook wherein most of my Pages were no longer available for the users to see, I decided to joined the Hive bandwagon and fight for freedom from the big tech. The number one sources of my website's traffic is through social media and with the constant monitoring of Facebook Fact Checkers I was really affected.

Question No. 2:

Hive Use Case.jpeg

What is your Favorite Use-case for #Hive?

My favorite use case scenario for #Hive blockchain are the people who are using the product, only legit users will try to get on board because it is not a quick-rich scheme. Hive will be used for our daily activities not only for financial gains but also for social media distribution and it can be useful for gamers also.

For the financial side, the economy right now is on the verge of adopting cryptocurrency and Hive is one of the most popular one in terms of adoption and thriving community. Hive is indeed useful for everybody who are now using the Web3.0 ecosystem.

Question No. 3:

Hive Awareness.jpeg

How is the Hive Community expanding awareness of #Hive to the Broader Web World?

The Hive community is expanding awareness of #Hive to the broader web world through various applications and websites built on top of the Hive blockchain. There are apps for gaming, for DeFi, for social media and other used-case scenario employing the Hive blockchain.

Question No. 4

Hive Twitter.jpeg

What can the #Hive Community do to onboard more Twitter users?

The Hive community did a good job in onboarding more users by spreading the words about the Hive Community through the various ecosystem provided by the community and the developers group.

In order for the Hive Community to onboard more Twitter users, we should always promote the importance of Hive and the use-case that will improve the community as a whole.
