ZapFic Friday - Bat in 50 words

Here's my entry for ZapFic50 Friday!

Surrounded by enemies, the only route of escape for the warriors was the entrance to a cave. The cave was known to be cursed and nobody has survived a night inside. Having no choice, they rushed inside and lit their fire torches, only to see a mountain of bat carcasses.
