My soul was detached in an ethereal flight,
no matter how hard I tried to hold it, it vanished.
It was no longer about the body or earthly passion,
it had settled in my guts like burning embers.
Slowly consuming me, making my heart explode,
sometimes you have to abandon everything and fly after a star.
It was not a question of desires or ephemeral pleasures,
it was a question of finding myself again, my truest self.
Though the path is uncertain and darkness lurks,
I must follow the trail of my soul into eternity.
