I didn't want a thousand roses, just one,
I didn't want butterflies in my stomach
but in my heart dancing in freedom,
that their light flight, without haste or gulp,
to make joy my eternal truth.
A flower that spoke of sincere love,
that in its colours would sing to the wind,
I didn't want a garden full of promises,
a hundred hearts beating in expectation,
I just longed for that rose, in subtle beauty,
a whisper in the breeze, a gentle spring.
for in simplicity, lies luck,
a single heartbeat, and the world is captive.
Many times a rose, speaks more than a bouquet, I liked your writing, greetings, happy start of the week and thanks for stopping by my blog.
The flowers are beautiful but it also takes more than that, thank you for commenting.
Excellent composition. A beautiful poem that invites reflection. Congratulations.
Thank you
