Rápido como un hipo es similar a la frase más rápido que la velocidad de la luz. Esta ultima hace referencia por ejemplo cuando estamos en un restaurante y a veces tardan en traer un plato, supongamos que seamos cinco personas, resulta que en 15 minutos traen cuatro platos, y el quinto y último llega media hora después, si llegamos a ver al mesero le preguntamos que pasó y a modo de broma le decimos que si puede traernos el plato a la velocidad de la luz.
La primera frase no la había escuchado, seguramente en otros países o estados se conozca, pero de hoy aprendo algo nuevo. Si comparamos las frases creo que más rápido es la velocidad de la luz que un hipo, aunque el hipo puede llegar a ser molesto en ocasiones, a mi me suele frecuentar con el primer sorbo de refresco, por eso casi no tomo este tipo de bebidas, y que tampoco es que sea muy saludable.
Hay muchas formas de eliminar un hipo como tragar aire tres veces, tomar tres sorbos de agua rápido y un pequeño susto, estas tres creo que son las más comunes. En mi cuerpo lo más efectivo es el de tomar tres sorbos de aire, la otra diría que el susto y por último el agua, ya que al ser tres veces a veces necesito de cuatro o más sorbos adicionales a los tres que se recomiendan.
Mi abuela sabía muchos refranes que de vez en cuando recuerdo, pero ahora me arrepiento de no haberlos anotado en un papel o en una pequeña libreta que seguramente me hubiese gustado tenerlos y enseñárselos a mis hijos, pero como todo, siempre nos acostumbramos a que estarán y no hacemos caso a que en cualquier momento se puedan ir y partir de aquí, como fue el caso de ella.

There are many ways to eliminate hiccups such as swallowing air three times, taking three quick sips of water and a little scare, these three I think are the most common. In my body the most effective is to take three sips of air, the other one I would say the scare and lastly the water, since it is three times sometimes I need four or more sips in addition to the three that are recommended.
