Traveling is part of education and experience, it can be fun at times it can be so stressed, though depending on the places you are visiting, if it is a tourist centre or a place for resting.
I love traveling but i always get tired of sitting in a vehicle for a very long period of time. Traveling From Abuja to jos for the first time was a bit stressful for the first time, I was so tired, most annoying part of it was that the vehicle got spoiled four hours journey turn out to be a journey of seven hours uuh, i was so frustrated and there was no one to complain to i only talk to a lady in the car, i murmured until the bus, the company sent arrived.
That day i was not able to view the places through the windows because it was late , that was one of the stressful journey I've ever experienced.
Whenever i heard people traveling for two days on the road i imagined the distance, what i always tell them is i know i love traveling, but i cannot travel along distance like that.
I never knew NYSC have plans for me, surprisingly after printing my call up letter i saw Taraba state. With a smile on face, i said to myself traveling a long distance is a must, ouch I left the next day rested at nasarawa state, then proceed the second day, when we got to taraba after plateau state my legs were already swollen, it w as a bit difficult for me to walk, so i have to walk round the environment and as well stretch my legs before we will proceed.
Getting to ibi i saw a small river with a small bridge that is a single car passes at a time, because I've heard about the crossing of the ibi river , and i was like is this the small river they are talking about, a girl in the car answered, tis is not the river, when i look through the window i sighted the big river i just say wawww and i closed my mouth became close.
I was very eager to see the river and also to board a boat which will transport us to the other edge of the river. Reaching there when we dropped, amazingly i saw a boat carrying a car, bus with goods in it and passengers. I stood for a while and watched how the boat moved and crossed to the other bank of the river.
When i entered the boat i wasn't scared but i found it to be fun and interesting traveling by water, even if the distance was just between 5 to 10 minutes. Children and adults swimming in the river, i really admired them, smiles but not me inside that water, never!.
My trip to Taraba was stressful 14 hours journey the day i boarded a car from jalingo to abuja, but most importantly it was fun, enjoyable and exploring.
