Las Garras del Granizo

Soltadle las amarras al viento,
él llamará al granizo,
gélido y macizo,
expresión de los caprichos de un invierno,
que devora y aplasta,
las alegrías del jardín eterno.

El frío roba los rayos al sol,
desamparando al verde fresco,
cuando lo oculta con sensuales
escarchas lacerantes.

Bien conoces el dolor del hielo,
bien conoces los zarpazos del granizo;
aún así, sobreviven los pétalos;
mientras acarician a una primavera resguardada,
en la espera de que el astro del cielo
recobre su trono y consuelo.

Se siente a la muerte llegar;
por doquier se ven sus huellas,
cicatrices sobre los blancos cristales,
bellos, puros y mortales.

Mirad, las aves desperezan,
perciben los aromas de mil flores,
que aman las brisas y colores,
las mismas que hoy,
acarician a la primavera.

Sed paciente,
el granizo es cruel,
pero efímero;
el contraste final se aproxima,
ya verás en libertad
a la salud y a la alegría.

Bien pronto llegará
a tu alma un perdido amor,
gracias a las suaves caricias
de una flor.

The Claws of Hail

Release the moorings to the wind,
it will call forth the hail.
icy and solid,
expression of the whims of a winter,
that devours and crushes,
the joys of the eternal garden.

The cold steals the sun's rays,
leaving the fresh greenery unprotected,
when it covers it with sensual,
lacerating frosts.

You know well the pain of ice,
you know well the claws of hail;
even so, the petals survive;
as they caress a sheltered spring,
waiting for the celestial star to regain
its throne and solace.

You can feel death approaching;
everywhere you see its traces,
scars on white crystals, beautiful,
pure and mortal.

Look, the birds stretch their wings,
perceiving the aromas of a thousand flowers,
which love the breezes and colors,
the same ones that today,
caress the spring.

Be patient, hail is cruel,
but ephemeral;
the final contrast is approaching,
you will soon see freedom for health and joy.

A lost love will soon come to your soul,
thanks to the gentle caresses of a flower.
