Theodore's life has been a huge mess since his wife died in a car accident. To forget his sorrows, he has fallen to alcohol, gambling, and even drugs with no restraint. But when he was about to fall deeper into the abyss of self-made destruction, a woman named Sylvia appeared in his life.
Sylvia was a woman of Theodore's age. And like Theodore, she too suffered a terrible loss when her husband died in a plane crash several years ago. But unlike Theodore, Sylvia refuses to throw away her life in despair. Instead of falling into alcoholism or any vices, she did everything to enrich her life and the lives of those around her. The two met at a hospital one day when Theodore, under the urging of his family, relatives, and friends, decided to visit a psychiatrist to fix his broken life. Coincidentally, Theodore was assigned to Sylvia, who only started working at the hospital that day.
When the two met, they were just like any other doctor and patient. But as they interacted more, they started to sympathize with one another, considering that they both lost loved ones in accidents. Soon, the two became friends, and after more than a year, they started developing feelings for one another and became more than friends.
With the help of Sylvia, Theodore was able to recover and soon fix his life. After a few more years, Theodore finally proposes to Sylvia, and the two get married months later. Now, the couple was living happily, blessed with a son.
Life as a couple can be conflictive, but there will always be bridges of understanding that will make it bearable, and it is sad when one dies because the other will feel that a part of his life is incomplete.
