In the past, the traditional hairstyle for unmarried men and women was long braids.
Nowadays, we cut and perm our hair, but in the past, we had a custom of not messing with our parents' bodies, so we kept our hair long. Naturally, long hair was managed by braiding.
The braids were decorated with string or cloth.

지금이야 머리를 자르고 파마도 했지만 예전에는 부모가 물려주신 신체에 대해 함부로 하지 않는 풍습이 있어 머리를 길렀다. 자연히 긴 머리를 땋아서 관리했다.
그리고 땋은 머리에 끈이나 헝겊으로 장식하였다.
