There's a deep darkness of sorrow in my heart,
And there's no hope for light
It's evening, and then there will be a deep night
I won't be there when the new dawn breaks

I have to walk alone all night
Who knows what the atmosphere is like on the other side?
It's a sin to even look back
This is all I've learned from this place
I'm tired from a lifetime of travel,

Whom do I love? I couldn't understand
This is the simple history of life
I am a human being, so I wonder why there is no shadow over my head
