Well, I wanted to follow up a little bit on this Bondi Beach, Australia situation where the Jewish community was attacked by these monsters, these predators.
I live in a part of the country that has herds of sheep and goats. And the people that own those herds keep guardian stock dogs in them. These are big dogs like Kangals and Great Pyrenees. And they live with the herds all the time. They don't come in the house and sleep at night. They're out there with the herds. Their job is to make sure that the coyotes don't get in and kill the lambs or the kids, the little goats.
You see, they're smart enough to know that you can't get rid of all of the coyotes. It just doesn't happen that way. Coyotes are pretty smart. They have their own ways. So, you've got to have guardians in the herd.
Now, what do we do as humans? Pathetic idiots that we are. Our government says, "Now, we're taking away all the guardians." Yeah, we're going to take all the guardians. You know, if something happens, we'll come out of the house. The police, we'll come out of the house and we'll help out. You know, it's going to take us a while to get our pajamas on, get our slippers on. We got to find a gun. Oh crap. We don't know how to use a gun. Oh, then we'll get out there someday. In the meantime, the coyotes ate all the lambs.
We have lost our sense of preservation.
What we need, and what the response should have been, is not to tighten up on gun laws and make it harder for people to get guns. They should have looked at this and said, "You know what we need are some guardian stock dogs. We need some of our own to be trained, skilled, ready, willing, and able to defend the rest of us when the predators come.
We need to start training some of these children in school about self-defense. And I'm not talking about mixed martial arts here. I'm talking about how to shoot a gun, how to handle a gun, how to be comfortable with it, safe with it, so that then they can be out there in public armed when the bad guys come. Because the bad guys are going to come. You can't keep them out. They're predators. It's what they do.
