daytrip to hell

in Freewriters7 days ago

It would make a great school trip or company outing: a day trip to hell. Just to see what the devil is up to. It's probably nothing at all, and he's just lazing around and enjoying a good movie (a vivid imagination works just as well, by the way).

Is hell still a nightmare these days? I doubt it, and even if it were, it's most likely just on Earth, in the street or house where you live. The average family seems far from ordinary, let alone kind and compassionate. There's a lot of bullying and harassment, not to mention abuse and mistreatment.

This year, quite a few people were literally killed (died is far too polite a term). What often struck me is that the police didn't do a thing and, even when reporting the crime, would just make a joke and send the person off. This also happened to a Japanese woman who was indeed killed by her American husband in Hungary. And the child? Well, that doesn't go to the Japanese parents, but to the murderer's brother. I doubt that's such a great choice, because violence seems to be quite normal in America, just like having a gun in the house and training toddlers on what to do when a trigger-happy idiot shows up.

A day in hell... if I were there, I hope you're not there. I'd rather be cozy alone with Loki, and I could really use some warmth.

I like to believe Hell is on Earth, and when we die, our soul goes to Heaven.

Sometimes people say that a person is possessed by the devil to describe how cruel their actions are and how much evil resides in them, that it seems like an excuse, and the sad thing is, it works. Evil is increasing more and more in this world, starting with children being sexually exploited.
