There's a wise ol owl living in my backyard trees, but when I went outside to take some photos he flew off. He doesn't move around much during the day, but when the sun goes down he's hooting up a storm. I'm not sure what type of owl he is but he sure is beautiful. There's a gully about 500 yards down the street from my house and we always spot huge birds soaring above hunting for food. We usually see Mexican vultures or some type of hawks perched on the peaks of the houses, that back up to that greenbelt. I'd rather see them there, instead of along the death loop 1604, picking at the carcasses of possums and armadillos that were hit by cars overnight. We need to protect all majestic birds living in our cities, as we've already destroyed their habitat once before.

Hoot, hoot, protect all birds you are lucky to still have them serenading you at night.
You must be lucky to have an owl so close that they are such beautiful and majestic creatures, as well as discreet. Greetings, friend!
Nice writing as always😍
Wise words, and I love that image of you with an owl. How do you make those?
