Yes to this. Lots of yes to this.
I believe you learn much more from people you disagree with, as apposed to inside an echo chamber of like minded people, who agree on everything.
And a lot of yes to this, too. It's certainly easier to talk to people who agree with everything you say (and it can certainly seem to make you seem intelligent, too), but pretty boring and stagnant.
Ya boring and stagnant is right, it's always good to have your opinions and convictions challenged and there is no harm in being proved wrong. Every day is a learning day afterall.
